Since 1953, Charles J. Precourt & Son, Inc., has been the exclusive quarrier of Sterling Stone from its quarry location in Northeast Connecticut. This quartzite, with brown, beige, tan, rust, and gray earth tone colors is produced as a random height wall stone, a 4 inch thick veneer (mosaic or roughly rectangular), strip ashlar veneer, and other roughly dimensional slabs and flagging.

Products are palletized in wire mesh, with pallet weights averaging 1 – 2 tons each. Bulk loads are also available.
